Caring For The Dry Skin
Dry skin is one of the most problematic categories of human skin, difficult to care for and having many complications. To begin with, dry skin perpetually suffers from a lack of moisture and smoothness in the skin, further aggravated by climatic conditions and sometimes even occupational hazards. If not taken care of properly, excessive dry skin can even lead to a series of skin problems and diseases.
Water is perhaps the best gift of god to earth. No other natural product probably has those many benefits as water.
If you think your skin is just a covering, just think again. Your skin is a living and breathing organ, totally in itself.
Here is a quick overview of how you can effectively care for your dry skin.
Sleep
Ensure that you get at least eight hours of proper sleep, to help your skin rejuvenate and repair itself at night.
Cleansing
Follow a proper cleansing schedule on a regular basis. Use only a medicated soap or a cleanser. Choose your cleanser and other products carefully, which will not strip your skin of its natural oils.
Toning
Toning is important to remove the last stages of the cleanser and dissolve dirt.
Nourishment
Develop a daily nighttime regimen for moisturizing your dry skin. Apply a good nourishing cream with an orange base to help your skin restore its normal moisture balance.
Bath routine
Use a good pre-bath cream to protect your skin from excessive dryness. It is also advisable to use a good moisturizer after your bath to soothe the skin.
