The lucky girl sports a 3 carat marquis cut diamond highlighted by baguette diamonds on each side and additional diamonds embedded into the gold setting. David had a matching diamond engagement band made up for himself with 7.5 diamond carats. The rings were designed by the upscale Asprey and Garrand for a total of 200,000. Another quarter of a million went towards their matching wedding bands designed by Van Cleef & Arpels

The couples love story begins when David spotted Posh performing with the Spice Girls on TV and told his good friend that he was going to marry her. Posh Spice saw a picture of Becks and decided she was interested in him. A year after meeting in-person in 1997, they got engaged. The U.K. had a good time watching the couple who enjoy matching each other, everything from their hairstyles, to their clothes, jewelry and puppies. The couple also enjoys spending money like its water although they can certainly afford to. Soon after their engagement, Posh became pregnant with their son Brooklyn who was born four months prior to their wedding. They became in a sense, British Royalty.

The 1999 wedding was an intimate affair with only 29 family and friends invited. The ceremony was held at a castle outside of Dublin, Ireland, whereby the couple sat on golden thrones as they awaited the recital of their marital vows. Victoria donned a tight ivory gown designed by Vera Wang while Becks wore an ivory colored suit. After the ceremony, the couple switched into matching purple oufits.

The reception on the other hand was a splashy gathering of over 400 guests who were asked to dress in black or white for the event. An 18 piece orchestra and fireworks added extra pizzazz to the day. As did the couples cake, which was topped with a semi-nude sculpture of the pair. As if they needed anything else, the couple asked for shopping vouchers in lieu of presents. The whole she-bang was said to cost close to a million dollars.

The U.S. has prepared itself for the invasion of Posh Spice and her hubby David Beckham when Beckham joined the L.A. Galaxy team. The couple is currently living in L.A. and spending quality time with high profile couples such as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Will Smith and Jayda Pinkett. They now have a total of three children, including Brookly, Romeo, and Cruz.
