Futurama is a similar comedy to family guy. It is an animation but it is based more on science fiction as it is on another planet. It is similar to that of star wars as well since it is based in space, they drive space ships and fight with people from other planets. It is a great show, there are downloads available nearly every where on the internet for it, as it is really popular.

My favourite character is Dexter a robot, who is funny and silly at the same time. There are new twists every episode and the comedy is suited to viewers with a dry sense of humour. It is quite random as well, that is why its similar to family guy, with funny calls coming out unexpectedly.

The show is popular mainly in Canada and the United States of America. It is also shown at prime time in Australia, New Zealand and England mainly appearing to those English speaking countries. Complete seasons are available on video, or they can be downloaded quite easily right across the internet. Often in the pod cast formula, some sites however offer very poor quality and it is hard to watch. So its best to look around as much as you can, often the broadcaster of the show offers the highest quality video to be watched for episodes. My favourite episode is either three or seven of season three. I could not stop laughing right through out them. Lets hope the new season is great especially with an end to the writers strike.
