No Country For old men is the best movie of two thousand and eight. It is set in West Texas and is about a local man who comes across a large amount of money. He takes that money and keeps it secret from every one he knows, but still the people hunting him down find out. One of the people hunting him down for the money is Javier Bardem who plays a mentally fragile killer, not stopping in his pursuit for any one. The film is set in West Texas and it is an absolute classic from Joel and Ethan Coen who are the directors.

The film has an all star cast including Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Garret Dillahunt and Beth Grant. This film has been a success at the United States box office already making close to seventy million dollars. It is distributed by Mirimax and Paramount Pictures. The film goes for two hours and although it starts at a slow pace it reaches very high levels of suspense towards the end. Javier Bardem was recently rewarded for his fantastic performance in the field through winning the best actor award at the Oscar awards ceremony which is the highest recognition an actor can get.
