Underbelly is a Better Show Than the Sopranos

Underbelly is the true life drama television series based on the under world war which escalated from nineteen ninety five until two thousand and four. It is the best television show to come off Australian television and Vince Colosimos performance as Alphonse Gangitano is nothing short of spectacular. For all you sopranos fans, watch this show and you will be shocked.

Reasons why Underbelly is such a great show:

1. The acting is of the highest class. The roles of Mark Moran and Alphonse Gangitano are some of the best real life depictions i have ever seen.

2. Being based on a true story, with so much action makes the show great in its own right. The violence makes it fantastic for mafia movie and television fans.

3. The directors have not held any thing back and have tried to show the truth in a majority of circumstances. Even though some trials of the characters based in the show are still going on, channel nine have decided that the truth needs to be told and this is a big reason why the show is great.

4. Half the characters are either dead now or have survived and are in jail. Its unbelievable to see how all this finishes with the most unlikely character of them all eventually running melbournes under world before he is jailed.

The sopranos ending made me sad and with no more seasons of the show being shown, underbelly is a great alternative. So much so, that i would even go further and say it is a superior show.
